A fine quality Gorham antique sterling silver covered syrup or milk pitcher with three dimensional sphynx finial and cast winged sphynx feet at the base. The handle has an applied mask on the outside. Delicate hand engraving on the body. Date letter for 1869.

Height 9 1/4" to the top of the handle. 6" tall to the spout.
